About Me

Hi my name is Martin Thorning and I have been studying for six years and I graduated from Plymouth College of Art in June 2010 from studing BA (Hons) Graphic Design on my final year at Plymouth College of Art. I started getting into website design after a website project on FD Graphic Design at College. I found that I had good skills in being a website designer and could head this way and become successful. When I graduated from Plymouth College of Art I started making business plans, I went to this company called Devonport Business Support Serive were they gave me advice on how to set up your own business and what I would need and what I would need to do. Devonport Business Support Service also funded me so that I got a good start in running my own business and for this I am very grateful.

I know how to use Adobe Flash CS3, Adobe Dreamweaver CS3, Adobe Photoshop CS3, Adobe Contribute CS3, Adobe After Effects CS3, Lightroom and many others but I'm also learning how to use Adobe CS5 and I can learn new software if needed to. I've also started building websites for mobile phone's because more people are starting to use the internet on there phone's. People are useing internet on there phone's more and more each year.

Personal Statement
I’m a Graphic Designer and Website Designer; I graduated from Plymouth College of Art on a BA (Hons) Graphic Design on my final year. I have created Websites for Paul Hannon, Vanessa Griffith, Tim Connolly and Manesh Manuel and various clients throughout the UK. The Website I did for Vanessa Griffith was advertised in a South Devon newspaper. I’m also teaching people on software mainly Dreamweaver CS3, Photoshop CS3 and Flash CS3 in my spare time. I’m hoping to work for your company to gain valuable experience. I am able to work on my own, but have also really enjoyed working within successful teams on Design projects.
